Agree..because it doesn't make a lick of sense..

No one knows when Jesus died let alone resurrected, if he did.

Depends, do you mean historically, biblically or culturally?

At my house (growing up and now), it's a completely true statement.

In reference to the Easter Bunny, also true.

In reference to the history of the spring festival Ostara, also true.

He died on Passover. That would have been Friday past. Rose the following Sunday. That would be today.

 I guess my church didn't get the memo.  We celebrated Easter AND Jesus today.

Same here.

We celebrated Jesus' death and resurrection and talked about how that ties in with salvation. Then we went on an Easter egg hunt. ;)

Agree, it's just like many other over commercialized holidays. We went to the zoo, it's just another day around here.
