Would you turn in a family member if you knew they committed a federal crime, & would go to federal prison? (non-violent crime)

I think I may afford them the opportunity to stop.  I have to admit, it also depends what it is.  There is a huge scope of "non-violent" federal crimes.

I'm honest.  For me to know of a crime and not report it would make me part of that crime.

Nope.  I let law enforcement do their own investigating.

that said, I wouldn't help them hide the body, either.

Yes.

Though . . . Depending. On the circumstances, I cant say that I wouldn't warn said family member that the Feds were coming. That way they'd have plenty of time to hightail it out of the country.

That way we both kind of win.

 I'll second that.

Depending on which family member and what the crime was.

Non violent, I think I would give them a chance to stop...beg even. That an it depends on the family member committing the crime.  There are a few members where I would gladly gather the evidence for the FBI....lol

It depends on which family member it was.
