Shoe Bomber attempts to board a plane â–º TSA makes Americans take off their shoes and belts before boarding airplanes. Americans comply in the name of "safety."

Rumors fly around that Muslim women are hiding bombs under their burqas and may try to board planes â–º TSA makes pregnant American women expose their pregnant bellies in order to ensure that no bombs are hidden under their clothing. Americans comply in the name of "safety."

Underwear Bomber attempts to a board a plane â–º TSA makes Americans go through body scanners subjecting them to high levels of radiation which the TSA has yet to explain. Americans comply, in the name of "safety."

Rumors fly around that terrorists plan to board plan in groups taking seemingly innocuous liquids on board in order to combine them on a plane â–º TSA implements policy that all liquid, including breast milk, catheter bags bags, and even food, cannot be taken past the checkpoints. Americans comply in the name of "safety."

Rumors fly that terrorists are hiding bombs in babies' diapers â–º TSA makes Americans strip their babies at the checkpoint. Americans comply in the name of "safety."

TSA decides that naked body scanners aren't sufficient enough â–º TSA employs invasive body "pat downs" which allow "screeners" to heavily grope breasts and genitals areas which multiple people have described as "invasive and humiliating." This policy is implemented for children too â–º America complies in the name of "safety."

NOW? Rumors fly that terrorists are going to start hiding bombs in their rectums - Let's take a bet: How long will it take for TSA to implement "random cavity searches" in the name of "safety?" And how many Americans will bend over and take it? Literally. How many parents will allow this to happen to their children, consoling them afterwards saying, "it's okay sweety - the man in the blue shirt HAD to check your bottom for bombs?"

You can't really accuse me of making a slippery slope fallacy here either - the TSA has been "riding the slopes" for quite some time.

Actually, I don't believe them.  I would bet if someone wanted to give them a rectal, they would be raising holy heck.  If they would just stand there, bend over and take it, no wonder our country is such a mess.

Fucking chicken littles in here.  I lost a very good friend in the World Trade Center on 9/11.  Bend the fuck over or don't fly.  The reality is shit happens every day.  Flying is not a RIGHT.  Your rights are NOT being stripped.  Kill the drama. I find it tremendously hard to believe that any amount of explosives inserted in a rectum or a vagina can bring down an airline.  I haven't seen ONE alternative solution in this thread to the problem of keeping travellers safe.  And to the genius comment about Socialist, open a fucking book so you can understand what Socialism is.
