But is there a similar theme to all these religious threads?  Look at some of the titles...don't they seem a little off the wall?  What are the posters trying to convey about religious folks? 

Do people really think these articles are valid, or are they just out to smack the religious people and make them look ridiculous?

What is the point in all of these?  And why the same couple of posters?

Why do they seem to want to paint religious folks in a negative light? 

Does this strike YOU as a little odd?

I think these types of posts are good conversation starters. And I also think some might be in reaction to some in this group claiming Christians in this country are persecuted. I personally tend to stay out of the religious posts especially when they imply that because I have faith in a higher power I'm not a critical thinker or I'm less intelligent than someone who doesn't believe.

*shrugs* I know not everyone believe as I do and I respect that. I don't get offended when someone else doesn't believe the same as I do. As long as they show me respect, I'll return the favor.

It seems to me this group tends to pick a topic and run with it for a week or so. Race, atheism, religious folks, abortion, etc. I'm sure next week we'll have 10-20 topics about something else altogether.

Its election season, it brings out the crazy and hateful in both sides. I just assume all of the anti-Christian posts will be followed shortly by anti-Republican posts related to Christians.

I think there are people who are specifically interested in certain topics, and therefore will post threads relating to their interest.

This is not specific to religion, there are those who post almost exclusively stuff about abortion, or race.  We had a woman for a time who was obsessed with the Penn State scandal.

What do you think is going on with these threads, poodles?
