Question: Which ONE of these questions would you most like to ask the presidential candidates?

Options:

How would you eliminate the food deserts found in many poor communities so that every American neighborhood has access to affordable fresh food?

If you had to pick one country to serve as a model for health care reform in the country, what country and what model would that be?

What are your immediate plans to provide equal access to good, public education for all American children?

Would you want your children to run for a high stakes, high profile public office?

If you were just a tax-paying citizen and not running for President, what would be your three burning issues in this election year?

How would you bridge the ever growing divide between Democrats and Republicans/rich and poor/educated and uneducated/men and women in this country?

Why are women used as pawns as a way to distract and divide? It distracts from the real issues, as if one's gender is inextricably linked to one's politics.

What would you do to help lower gas prices, including as pertains to the Keystone pipeline?

How do you plan to address our growing entitlement mentality? Will the candidate's address this most important problem or will entitlements continue to be used as a way to buy votes?

What characteristics do you have that would appeal to members of the opposition and help eliminate the stalemate in Washington?

What do you see as the defining difference between a Democrat and a Republican - and are social issues part of that definition?

Will women be better off as a result of your leadership?

Can you recount a moment with one or more of your children that changed your perspective on life?

As a mom, I worry about my kids’ safety and the rising cost of gasoline. How important is energy independence for America in terms of national security, and what is your plan to get us there?

Do you believe that rampant racism still exists in this country, and if so, could you give me a specific example?

I would also add how they plan on keeping church and state separate entities.

I would like to see them address how to make americans more self sufficient instead of them relying on big daddy government for their entitlements.

What do you feel is an acceptable level of deficit the federal government should be allowed to carry? How do you feel if the Federal Reserve would stop buying the federal government bonds and would you look to outside sources or would you instruct the US Treasury to print the notes?

 I would ask them what commitments they plan on making towards alternative renewable energy resources.  It isn't enough to lower gas prices.  At some point, there will be no more gas.  We need to do something about that now.
