What makes all the cows in an area start yelling at the same time? **update**

 **Update on the cows!**

Figured out what happened with the cows!!!  They were separating the babies from the moms.  I thought they - you know, the aliens :) - took all the cows away, but I was mistaken.  They took the mom cows away.  I saw the baby cows - aka veal - in a little pasture all by themselves a couple of days later.  Now they're gone as well.  And there is another HUGE pasture with hundreds of mommy and baby cows getting all fattened up...

Hundreds of cows, spread out over acres and acres and acres, just flipped out around my neighborhood. I grew up in Oklahoma, now live in TX so I've been around cows all my life. I have never heard anything like this. They aren't just mooing, they are yelling - but not screaming. Anyone?

Clear blue cloudless sky.  I don't think there was an earthquake, but I've never been in one so could I just not have recognized it?

That's creepy. I would say something happening inside the earth that they can feel or hear and you can't.

Bawling? This is when they remove the babies from them, so the farmers can continue to milk them.

Not unless 500 cows just birthed at once.
