I find myself getting so pissed off that teachers feel it is okay to use candy as an incentive, or a reward. Especially when a child has braces on.
Yes, it is the responsibility of the child to say no when they know they aren't allowed to have something. Thankfully, my daughter did.
But not all kids do and she isn't going to every time.
For every point they achieved over their goal on those damn state tests, they were given a piece of candy. My daughter came home with 21 pieces of candy and two full size candy bars.
I've always had a problem with these incentives and rewards.
At this point, I'm just so pissed I felt like bitching about it.
