So I was reading through threads today and the last one I read through spawned this thread.

What have you learned from cafemom or what has cafemom taught you?

Serious or funny - I don't care.  I'm always looking to learn something new.

I'll post some of mine a little later this afternoon (once I get on the train.)

I have learned that I'm the only cm member that shops at Walmart, lol.

I am not conservative enough to be a Republican and I'm not liberal enough to be a Democrat.

I am a Republicrat or Demublican.

There are extreme views on any side and most of them stink.

I have learned that when someone learns something new often times they are too prideful to admit it, or they aren't very thankful for the shared knowledge. I've seen moms insist that something is wrong even when you provide staunch facts.

1.  Every situation is different and there is never one correct answer.

2.  Birth control is not reliable (life and CM taught me this)

3.  People do not debate to change one's mind, they debate to have their own opinions validated by strangers.

4.  How the reproductive cycle really works (which leads into....)

5.  Sex education is failing as it is, we need to give facts to teens and allow open discussion and questions in a private manner in order to give them facts and stop teaching abstinence only.

I have learned........

Most parents don't give a damn if their minor child is sexually active

Cell phones are passed out like toys to 10 year olds

If you attend church you are automatically branded a Repulican (I am not)

If you are less than flat-out liberal, you are a Repulican, too

If you don't want the US Constitution amended -- Republican again.

If you have an opinion that differs regarding anything and everything that liberals have labeled as `human rights', yep you guessed it, you have to be a Republican AND a bigot.

And I'm not even going to go the God route............

If you get banned just make a new account. They won't do anything.
