HEY YOU! Ya you, with the cell phone...
Yes I am talking about you, and you, and you!
So today it is not uncommon to see someone running around with the cell phone in the hand. Believe me I am not old fashioned and I am tech savvy and do web designing and computer programming and love my techie stuff but fur the love of pugs, I am not married to my cell phone, or laptop, or soon to be tablet (yet) that could be a minor issue but not major!
I cannot stand it when (general you) are constantly looking at your freakin cell phone! Seriously if someone texts you, they will not die if you do not reply PRONTO. If someone calls you, neither you or they will die if you do not answer the phone. That is why they invented the message service.
I find that most people find or look for reasons to look at their cell phones and it isn't even ringing. It is annoying, it is obnoxious, your addiction to your phone is beyond rational. I want to slap cell phones out of the hands.
Ok continue.

people are addicted to that "instant gratification" that comes from texting and getting an immediate response.
It like technological cocaine!
*Looks up from reading a text..
Wha? You say something???
:P
Gotta agree with the cat. I hate the darn things.
Mine too, now
Quoting romalove:My cell phone is always with me. It is my business lifeline.
Quoting jacrawford:
Mine is always with me cause my gma who raised me is very ill as well as my mom & I need to know if something happens so for me yes there could be a emergency on the other end
I hope your grandma pulls through.
And yes, this is also a legitimate use and need for cell phone.
But I am thinking....why is it anyone's business how much or why someone else is using their cell?
If I was in a discussion with someone and they tune me out to play Angry Birds, then yeah, I am going to have a problem with that. But that's a one on one rudeness.
In general, I don't care who or how much someone else uses their cell. Everyone who knows me knows that the cell is my business lifeline, and if I am with them and it blings, rings, or sings, it means it could be $$$ and I am going to check!
