How much television do you watch

How much television do you watch daily?  Do you generally have it on as background noise?  

Prior to cutting our cable back to the very basic of basic channels the television was on most of the day.  The best thing we did was cut it way back and now we can go days without ever turning it on.

Way too much.  I listen to the news in the morning as I get ready for work.  Then in the evening I watch the news and then whatever I can find that interests me.

hardly ever. i hate watching tv, i pretty much only watch one or two (or three) episodes of star trek at night before bed on netflix and thats it.

I don't watch cable TV. I watch alot of shows on Netflix though

We watch the news at night and flip after that. Sometimes the boys will watch a movie and they get about an hour or two on Saturday's.

1 hour per week if Criminal Minds is on.  Otherwise, only on Sunday nights when I watch the food network with my Mom.  We watch 2 shows.

I am home all day, just not interested in tv.  My husband has it on from the minute he gets home until he leaves in the morning though.  I just ignore it..  he is a roamer!

I used to only watch in the evenings, then I got Netflix and now I can shut the darn thing off. I keep finding new shows lol.

My television rarely ever turns off when I am home. During the morning, it's mostly news or the today show or something... But when I come home from work, I can't help but watch my reality shows lol. Dd tries to stop me and the tv stays on noggin channel for a few hours haha

I love my television. I enjoy the news, a variety of dramas, and the occasional talent-based reality show. My children will watch about an hour a day, then find other stuff to do. My husband and I are always reading, doing work, or cleaning, so the TV isn't our sole form of entertainment. I think that's more important than how long the TV is on.
