I have never seen one or read one, so I don't know if I would agree with the underlying doctrine or not...but there are better ways to persuade people to your beliefs than to insult others beliefs.

If I remember correctly, they target Catholicism, and I know they are insulting to Catholics. It has turned many Catholics off to even discussing where our differences are and the reason for those differences. It has seemingly been counterproductive.

OMG they are the ones that came to my door. Or one of their cronies did. Sweet Jesus was that bad. I'm Catholic. I have absolutely no use for them what so ever. I've never been so wholly insulted in my entire life! 

Catholics are not bad people, and we DO NOT WORSHIP Statues or pray to the Saints. It's not that hard to understand if some of these people would JUST LISTEN to the words in a prayer.

I think they turn more people away than anything. The original intent of a tract has merit, I believe, not necessarily his, but tracts in general. They simply told about Christ, not like they do now. I don't use them. My study of the Word has shown me that how I live, my words, and actions is the only "tract" I will need.
