Question: Should the woman who falsely accused the man go to jail also?
Total Votes: 122
This came from a show I saw.
A woman accuses her commanding officer of rape. It turns out that he didn't rape her but her fellow solder instead. The victim never went to the police because she was scared and thought no one would believe her. Now because of the false rape accusation it was found out that he was in fact a rapist and went to jail.
Now the question is, should the woman who falsely accused him go to jail too?
Wait, what? She was raped, but, not by who she thought at first?
It sounds like she found out about her fellow soldier being raped and took justice into her own hands. I admire that she didn't want this rapist running around free, but she went about it the wrong way.
No, no no. He raped her friend. But her friend was too scared to come forward so the woman lied to get him in jail.

Ok, let me see if I get it now. lol
Her friend lied and accused the man who raped her friend that he raped her instead? Did that make sense?
She lied and made a false police report, she should be charge.
Quoting paganbaby:No, no no. He raped her friend. But her friend was too scared to come forward so the woman lied to get him in jail.

I'm with you there. But do you think she deserves jail time?

Jail, no. Dishonorable discharge, maybe.

Yes lol That just barley made sense and I wrote it ha ha
But with jail time?

I like this.
Quoting pampire:Jail, no. But I'm sure there are a few military regs she broke by lying and she should be (mildly) disciplined for that. She was doing the right thing (by trying to bring him to justice) but she did it in a less than smart way.
