Customize Your Homepage Background!

Hi,

By popular request, you can now customize the look of your CafeMom homepage by changing its background to whatever image or color you'd like! Just look for the Change Homepage Background link at the very top right of the homepage.

This is just the first step in our plans to give you more control over your homepage. We're also working on giving you the ability to customize some of its content. For example, if you don't like the Conversations in All Groups area, you'll soon be able to replace it with a list of your groups or with your friends' Thought Bubbles.

In the meantime, don't forget that you can already personalize your profile page, which is what other moms see when they click on your screen name. You can reach your profile from the link above the teal navigation bar.

Silly question..

Why bother customize a page we can't see (our profile page) but other moms can? What's the point?  (not being snarky)  Its sort of  tease to see how CM used to look then to have to navigate the "new" homepage.  Any chance of getting CM going back to our homepage and our profile page being the same.

I tried to change my background on my homepage several times, and it didn't work work.  Do you have to be using a specific browser?

I "changed" the color, and I use the term loosely, because all that changed was a teeny tiny thin strip around the edge of my screen.

Not even worth the trouble.

I liked it much better when our homepage and profile page were the same.

The way it is now, it's too busy.

Is it supposed to only change it on the computer you make the change on?
