I think Scientology is questionable at best, an outright dangerous cult at worst. Too many people have come forward about their upper ranks basically a prison. I think that Tom Cruise is probably very wrapped up in some far out beliefs and because of his fame and powerful position in society, isn't likely to be challenged much. I mean, look at celebrities like Lindsay Lohan. If she was a "ordinary" person, I'm betting she'd have years in prison under her belt. I think the situation with Tom is similar, and Katie simply had enough already.
He's a great actor but a def weirdo.
I've never thought of him as crazy and actually have always liked him, especially his acting.

I don't know anything about Scientology but I think he's nuts. He's just off. It may be because I only see a public persona, but he seems very plastic. Some actors seem very genuine and artistic. He seems like a wacko. There's no there, there.
I don't think he's crazy. I think he's kind of dumb, deeply closeted, and that if he wasn't a Scientologist he would be a prosperity-theology type of Christian. He's a Scientologist because they fawn over him. He doesn't appeal to me, although I did like him in Tropic Thunder. IMO, though, that's because of Ben Stiller.
