So we have a lot of white moms here, I am curious if you identify with this statement?

Is this how you feel? I will add a poll, to save some from the need to identify themselves in response.

White people LOVE a black man as long as they believe his whole existence revolves around entertaining them but let a black man make what they consider a step over the line, and watch them lynch him in a NY minute.

Hhaha the only reason Dar is up there on numbers w/ race posts is because sweets deserted and started who own private little club...hahahaha...Also, if do the numbers, Joni has far more posts, but most of more racially motivated posters cant hang here so they choose to run to the "other" little group where they can spout unchallenged. lolol

This is not the first time I've asked why you tell such an easily exposed lie, Jenn.

Go to the tab labled "more."  Click "search group."  Type Radarma's name in the search box, click "for all time" and see that almost all her posts are race posts.  The word race might not be in the title, but open almost any post and it will be some denigration of black people.

Type my name and it will be seen that I've made all kinds of posts.  The ones I write about race never denigrate white people and are meant to open honest discussions about the social issues of racial discrimination, racial profiling and racial injustice.  I express dismay at a criminal "justice" system that doesn't prosecute the white people who kill black men in cold blood or white cops who shoot a black man when they could have subdued him by other means or who tase pregnant black women for no valid reason as black women weeks from delivering are not exactly a physical threat to a grown man trained in hand-to-hand combat.

I write race posts to say this stuff really happens, people; we don't make it up, we don't enjoy being victims, who does?  You and the motley crew use those posts to try very hard to make it seem I hate all white people because I'm disgusted with those who get away with murder and I'm disgusted with the double standards.  It doesn't seem racial bigotry is against the rules because you guys are extremely bigoted and don't fear reprisals.  I wonder why you try so hard to make me as guilty as you; does "misery love company," apply?

I recognize your rights to be racial bigots; I wouldn't want anyone punished for it.  I can dream, can't I, that people will one day change your evil ways?

I don't know what to say to you, if you were asking any questions. I have no clue as to how many race posts there are, or how many black women there are. It's nothing I care so much about that I'd ever even think to keep a tally.

I'm not whining. Whining is complaining. You have to care to complain.

So whatever happened with that pool sign? Any story about it? Did anyone make a big deal in the news or anything?

You noted that everything in here isbecoming black this and brown that, I'm just highlighting (and I find if flippin strange) the posts are being brought by people that are non-black. I can understand if someone is gay and brings up gay issues all of the time, but after a while if someone is constantly bringing up gay issues and they are NOT gay ... that would raise my eyebrow too. And the strangest part are those who will come in and talk about the black folks for bringing up "race" all of the time. **sigh**

As for teh news story, I posted in the other thread but here is one, there are tons of them on it though. I did get a good bit of media attention. Basically she owned a duplex, the tenants could use the pool (in their lease), the dad's bi-racial daughter came to visit, swam in the pool an the next day the landlord posted the "Whites Only" sign. Yeah, that's illegal.

Ohio landlady appeals to keep ‘White Only’ sign at pool State panel to make final ruling

A landlord in Ohio lost her appeal to the Civil Rights Commission to reconsider her right to post a "whites only" sign.

In September, the Commission ruled that Jamie Hein had violated the Ohio Civil Rights Act by discriminating against a teenage girl with the sign, which she posted while the girl was visiting the pool in a duplex where her father lived, WLWT-TV reported.

The commission ruled the sign "restricts the social interaction between Caucasians and African-Americans and reinforces discriminatory actions aimed at oppressing people of color."

The commission voted 4-0 to uphold the ruling on Thursday, WLWT-TV reported.

The teen's father, Michael Gunn, brought the case against the pool which he said he had gone to for two years prior to the incident without any problem. CNN reported that Gunn, who is white, lived upstairs from the pool with his girlfriend, who is also white. The sign appeared in May of 2011 after he brought his teenage daughter, who is biracial, to swim.

"Complainant states that the owner, Jamie Hein, accused his daughter of making the pool 'cloudy' because she used chemicals in her hair," the commission wrote in its summary. "Days later, the owner posted a sign on the gate to the pool which read, 'Public Swimming Pool, White Only.'"

Gunn added in the complaint that he had moved his family out of the duplex after the incident to "avoid subjecting their family to further humiliating treatment."

In the first hearing, Hein said she was "trying to protect her assets," according to the TV station.

She had originally insisted to ABC News that the sign was just for decoration.

"I'm not a bad person," she insisted in December. "I don't have any problem with race at all. It's a historical sign."

ABC News noted that the sign had since been stolen.

Hein could face a cease-and-desist order or punitive damages.

So true JonJon!....but some whites not going to see it like that and than they will Holla...(racism).....lmao!

What does step over the line mean, to commit a crime?  What does "lynch" refer to?

If I were to relate this to women, I would say Hillary Clinton is the #1 example. As a woman, as a first lady (when she was) she stepped out of line. She was "publically lynched" for stepping out of place.

Excellent example.  When people complained about her interests and demeanor, she asked if she was supposed to bake cookies or said something to the effect of having no desire to stay home and bake cookies.  Woooweee!  My, how the fur did fly.  Homemakers all over the country went nuts, casting aspersions on her femininity; it didn't help that Hillary was the first First Lady who regularly wore pantsuits.  Hillary tried to soften and feminize her image but things were never the same for her.

She went through eight years of hell and for the life of me, I couldn't understand why she wanted a potential eight more years of being under the microscope but in my mind, she was tough as nails and would be a good President.

Yes, Hillary stepped over the line drawn by men who believe the women's place is in the home and who will tolerate a woman in their workplaces only so far before retaliating against the woman, and the women who put limitations on themselves because they don't want to disturb the status quo; don't want anyone looking at them and saying, "The First Lady works, why can't you?" what with First Ladies being considered trendsetters.

Thanks for posting the story. That lady is a douche, no doubt about it. And idiot "the sign is for decoration"...wth.

I don't know (mostly) who is black or white, and I really don't know who is gay or straight. My comment was not anything that needed an interpretation. It really is becoming about black/white over the past week or so. And as usual, it'll change for a 2 week period about abortion, or something else. It's like the name should be changed from CafeMom to ObsessiveMom.
