Picking Ryan; One, two weeks before the convention was a dumb political move. Two, I also believe Romney's in-house polling shows him he is about 2-3% behind Obama.

If Romney was ahead in his polling ... I think he would have pick Portman or Pawlewty

My uber conservative grandma.called me 15 mins ago telling me she's not voting for Paul Ryan and his voucher program, the town hall meeting last year with hensarling, seniors were not impressed with the voucher idea.

Didn't think Romney was gonna steer far right to get his VP. Quite shocking.

That is not too surprising. Romney's record has leaned towards the center so it is really not a surprise he chose a Ryan, a solid conservative.
