9-year-old Girl Gives Birth to a Baby Boy

An unnamed 9-year-old Chinese girl gave birth by Caesarean section to a 6-pound baby boy. After being 8 1/2 months pregnant, the girl’s parents brought her to the hospital to give birth,  MX reported.

According to reports, parents have sought legal advice and local police are currently investigating the situation. In Changchun, the father of the baby would automatically be arrested for sex with a minor under the age of 14.

While you may scratch your head in bafflement or groan in disbelief at the biological and psychological improbability, this is unfortunately not one for the history books. The youngest mother in the world is 6-year-old Lina Medina from Peru. Lina was pregnant at 5-year-old and gave birth when she turned 6. Lina’s boy grew up healthy, but she never revealed the father of the child nor the circumstances of her impregnation. The quick history of Lina is below.

I don't think that's realistic. There is no way it is conensual unless she was being abused sexually and ANY 9 year old girl having sex is being abused sexually. Even if it was a little boy who impregnated her, something is wrong with him as well to be having sex so young. This is so selfish to make her keep the baby as a reminder to her instead of letting her live her life. That poor child :(

Child mothers have been documented as early as the late 1700's. The youngest mom who was 5 when she got pregnant was in 1933. She lived in Peru. I have read about that case before.
