S/O, of sorts. If abortion, at all costs, was illegal.........

Bear with me as I try to get my thoughts out there. 

So abortion is illegal.  Under all circumstances.  Every woman must give birth to the child.

What happens when a woman forced to do so is not a loving, caring and nurturing individual?  That woman is a horrible mother, horrible person.  Or she just is not equipped to be what that child needs?  Does the State step in, remove the child and the child enters the system?  Are you willing to step up and help these children?  Remember, all life should be protected.  Not just with your tax dollars, that is an easy out.  YOU wanted this law, what are YOU going to do, personally?

The mother needs help.  She is not financially sound yet is trying to care for her child the best she can.  She must seek help from the State.  Your tax dollars are going to go up and are you going to complain about that?  What are YOU going to do to help these children?  Remember, all life should be protected.  YOU wanted this law of abortion being illegal, what are YOU going to do?

So, how do we protect all of these people? 

And what about the mother?  Whether she is a piece of crap or a great person having a hard time?  Isn't her life worth protecting?

How far are YOU willing to go?  On a up close and personal level?

ETA:  The child born bears numerous and horrible disabilities, mentally or otherwise.  The mother cannot afford to care for the child or she is not equipped to do so.  What are YOU going to do to help protect this life?

 I don't think most think ahead...they just spout the 'all life is precious' line, then wash their hands and walk away...many have made their views clear about not supporting PA and not wanting a tax increase...

You make a very good point and I agree with you. I dont like abortion, for the most part. I could never do it. BUT I would never condemn any woman that chose abortion for herself. A lot of these people that have such a horrible time with abortion, I feel, would be much different if they were expected to take up the slack for every single woman being forced into giving birth that would have chosen not to.

I think they see these children as their punishment for having unprotected sex, therefore they deserve to scrape and suffer for their sins. I don't think its so much about the child's life as it is the woman being held accountable for daring to have non-procreational sex.

People seem to think that all of these women will give up their babies for adoption and there will be families standing ready and waiting to take them.  

Personally, I think we would end up much like the countries people currently seek to adopt when they can't get children here.

Haven't you heard? Once they're born, they are on their own.

No medicaid, no welfare, no WIC, those are all handouts and the same people who abhor abortion hate them and the people who use these services.

Abortion is legal and affordable now, yet we still have women tossing their babies into trash cans, beating their kids to death, starving them to death, selling their kids to pervs, etc.

Abortion being legal hasn't stopped shitty parents from hurting their children.
