I'm an independent voter as I have mentioned before, but last night blatant lying by Paul Ryan and Mitt not releasing his tax returns has made me decide to vote Democrat. I will watch the debates maybe he can change my mind but I highly doubt it by this point.

If you believe that Ryan was "blantantly lying" last night I question your "independent voter" claim.  It was actually a good speech if not blatantly partisan.  but partisan does not equal lies.  it may differ from your point of view, but that leads us back to your claim of being an independent voter.

I'm calling it the 'retroactive' club. All democratic politicians can be retroactively blamed for things that happened before they took office, while republican politicians can take credit for good things that happened before they took office. It's really convenient!

In my voting history I have voted for both republicans and democrat. When obama was elected I voted obama but also voted for the republican house cantidate for my area. I look at the issues and make a decision weather or not to vote for someone not just there party which is as it should be.

Paula Ryan lied about the plant closure blatantly lied because he has been corrected many times on this point and persists in using it

I also have a problem with Romney refusing to lay out his plans. He says he wants to repeal obamacare but doesn't tell us what he is going to replace it with. The old system is broken as attested by our healthcare rating compaired to other countries. I want to know his plans but he refuses to speak to them how could I in good conscience vote for him. Also  he won't release his taxes even his dad released his taxes if he can't follow even his fathers advice if he is always its my way or the highway how can we expect anything to get done during his term. We all have to comprimise a bit to make things work in this country.

Really?  So what did the republican you voted for have in common with Obama according to the issues?
