So here is the hypothetical. Parent's split up before child is born, mother decides she does not want to breastfeed and chooses formula. Father is active in his child's life and wants the child to have the benefits of breastmilk. He signs up and pays for breastmilk from a breastmilk bank so he can provide breastmilk instead of formula when the child visits.
Should he have to stop doing so if the mother objects? Does she have the final say in what happens with the child in both homes?
For argument's sake, the courts have given both parent's equal authority over the child.
