My state is voting this November about a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage.  I will vote against the amendment.  I think that because it's a presidential election, it will bring out big numbers of voters.  I believe that will be a positive for people who may not be activists, per se, but will not with good conscience vote to add an amendment to the state constitution that takes rights away from people.

 I think if the people for the state are for it, then it goes on the books.  I may not personally approve, but this country is supposed to be a republic with the will of the people making most of the rules...and that I support 100%.
