Well pretty much. I have to decide on glass or screen for the doors and find a latch for one of the doors but my much missed pantry is back in service:)

oh, I like that, I would say glass but screen if done right can be nice.

It was my great grandmothers and maybe great great lol. It was in my grandmothers basement all of my life, always with the paint worn off of the doors. This picture shows the bottom untouched but the top is well on its way, the paint was thick on the upper half of the piece.:

Gorgeous!!! A piece to be very proud of to be sure.
Glass or screen...hmmm..depends on how you want to use it. For things that you want to show off but keep safe, glass would be best however if you want to maintain the antique integrity of the pie closet as much as possible (refinishing antique pieces does tend to decrease their "antique" value), then cleaning and replacing the original screen, if you have it, would be best.

At Home Depot they have all the decorative screens for things like this. You could also get a piece of tin, and make a template and do a punched tin screen.
