Quoting moneysaver6:

Quoting SilverSterling:

I took an Practice Citizenship test 2yrs ago and passed it.. I had thought about moving there many times before this election. If I couldn't go to Canada I would want to move to England, or my own Island somewhere sunny warm and Not in American waters lol... Again I have been plotting places for years and years.. Now The few Republicans who have threatened to move to Canada That I would like to see go but Canada don't want them lol..

Communications, I want to work with nonprofit organizations in the Communications department, in America I was looking to work with Gay Rights, but if I was in Canada I would focus more on finding an organization to work with that helps battered women. At least that is my ultimate goal. I would be happy at any nonprofit truly, but those are the ones I really would be happiest working at. My DH is almost done as well, and he has a degree in English, he has a year left, and he is not a narrowly focused on a job as I am. I hope he starts figuring that out soon. He is always saying he wants to teach, but he will need to get his PHD to teach college, and that is several more years, I would like for him to do something else in the meantime that has a decent salary.

Quoting D.O.E.:

lol aww your so sweet!!!! what are taking in college?

Quoting HeathersForever:

If I could save up the money I would so be there! I would try to move to somewhere near Niagara Falls because that is closest to the American Border and my family can come visit or vice versa still, its only like a 3 and half hour drive for them, and honestly it's like a dream country. I love your country! And I hate Romney, but even if Obama wins, your country is still better...I love Canada! I wish I could save up the money to move...maybe when I am done with college. :(

lmao...we don't want your trashy losers!!! but we will accept those who will contribute to our economy:)

Quoting LuvmyAiden:

I am a fan of laws that actually allow me to protect myself so your gun laws aren't really my bag. And as long as I have carried I have never shot anyone, I am most certainly NOT crazy and fear is not a factor for me as I know I am fully able to protect myself. But again I would love to visit someday(I'll leave my gun at home) and I would really love it if all those who want to live off the system were to join you guys up north.

Quoting D.O.E.:

lol we have guns here, long guns are for hunting, if you want a handgun, you need special permits. and thats ok, we don't want crazy people walking around with handguns just shooting people because they are scared....

Quoting LuvmyAiden:

Those moving due to Romney winning would like all of this. I say you can have them...every last one! I personally think Canada is great and all(and beautiful by the way) but I am not a liberal or a socialist and I LOVE my guns so while I would visit I could NEVER live in Canada. But I am totally grateful that you seem willing to take those who don't like it down here!

Well hopefully it's not something we only have here in America then, but it's a fairly new concept. LOL It's basically like Public Relations, but it is for smaller businesses, mostly like non-profits. Or my Dad works for the Govt as a Children Services Worker, he said they have a Communications department with students who graduated with Communications degrees, basically I would be responsible for making Communication with the public about our organization, setting up fund raisers, emailing other organizaitons, basically the center of talking with every other organization and organizing everything, which is what sets it apart from regular PR. Regular PR mostly focuses on just how the company is portrayed to the public, Communications is responsible for making sure not only that goes smoothly, but all hubs of Communication go well within the organization. It takes a lot more training because you are trained in things like journalism, video making, etc...basically you have to make sure the company runs smoothly in all Communication aspects.
