I found it ironic when Romney said he is going to create jobs - then turned around and said he is going to cut thousands of federal jobs.

Wouldn't cutting PBS also cut jobs?

No. no, no. Not at all. By cutting PBS, the government will have .01% more money which will eventually trickle down thus stimulating the economy.

If people donated more to PBS, Romney wouldn't even be able to cut anything. From what I read, they receive approximately 15% of their budget in federal funds. If you feel so strongly about PBS being able to meet their budget, I highly encourage you to donate.

the funding may be 15% of PBS budget but it is a mere .01% of the federal contribution, Surely, it is obvious that PBS is not the culprit at busting the fed budget.

Exactly!

Quoting FromAtoZ:

If cutting funding to PBS is minimal, why would Romney use PBS as an example?

This is what frustrates me. He has opportunity to really speak about what it is he is all about and he uses PBS as an example of how to cut? *sigh*
