A genuine question to those who support Romney.

Posted by   + Show Post

I've asked this is a few threads but no one seems to want to answer.

What, in your opinion, did Romney offer last night that should have been helpful to some one undecided?

I realize the time was restricted but what did he offer to Americans?

Specifics, not just his back and forth on how he feels about the current Administration.

This has nothing to do with the President.

What did I not hear last night that Romney has to offer America?

Notice I said last night................I am speaking specifically of what he offered during the debate.  Not at any other time.

He also knows that his plan was W's plan ...and we see how far that plan got us in terms of a healthy economy and job growth.

HELLO- DEMAND for goods and services fuels expansion and job growth- creative juices are fueled by paying and demanding customers.

Further, the labor market is globally competitive and Americans just do not fit the bill.

Cut taxes in order to grow the economy.  That's what he said

CUT TAXES!

Yes specifically those who are SMALL businesses to Lower their burden. They are after all the ones who employ and write our checks. If they are freed up they have more ability to hire people therefore creating jobs. See how that works? if we screw business then we are all screwed.

What really got me is his ability to govern and get things done in a largely liberal state. This shows me that he does have the ability to work with both sides and perhaps change the tone in Washington. Mass was #1 in education so he must have done something right.
He also knows about business and how to create jobs and make payroll ( something Obama knows nothing about). Obummer has done nothing except push socialist healthcare most Americans do not want.

After watching the debate last night, I'm still trying to figure out which animal abuser I can live with, the one that eats a dog and says it's delicious, or the one that puts his dog on top of his vehicle and drives across the country.

For me, that's what this election boils down too. I cringe just thinking about how horrible are choices are.

The only thing Romney has to offer, is that he isn't Obama.

Had a conversation with a friend and pointed out that this is all I have seen Mitt do.  I saw that someone mentioned cutting taxes what president hasn't said that mouthful?  And better question who has actually had the ability to do so?

Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton after he jacked them way up, and was forced to lower them again, or lose re-election, George W. Bush....all lowered taxes.

He will repeal Obamacare.  This alone will be a relief for our economy.  Right now, business owners have no idea how this law is going to affect them, and are not hiring or making any big moves until they know what the future holds.

He will cut taxes for businesses.  When taxes are lower for businesses, they have more money to hire more employees.  When more people are working, those people are paying more income tax.  It's win-win all the way around.  Businesses thrive, people are employed, tax revenue increases.

He will open federal land for oil drilling.  The Baaken oil field is one of the biggest in the nation.  There is absolutely no excuse for being so dependent on the middle east for oil when we have our own.  Put our people to work getting it out of the ground!

He will build the oil pipeline.  If Obama is reelected, that pipeline will not be built, and all of OUR oil will be sent to China to be refined so that they can then sell it back to us at a huge profit.  This is good for America HOW?

I believe that he has the business knowledge to lead this country.  He understands that the free market economy works best when the government stays out of it.  He was confident last night.  He outlined his points, numbering them off in a clear, concise manner.  He has a plan that is different from Obama's.  Obama continues to echo the exact same policies he touted 4 years ago, that have only made things worse.  I will concede that Obama inherited a mess, but his policies have not helped a bit.  Things may seem better at the moment, but if you read anything from any financial expert you know that 2013 is going to bring a global financial crisis like this world has never seen.  That tells me that Obama hasn't fixed the mess. He thinks his plan is working, and doesn't intend to change his course of action.  We can't continue on Obama's path.

I could go on, but I'll leave it at that for now.

That's correct.  The private sector is where job creation should be, not the US gov't.  Every job the gov't creates, costs the taxpayers.  When the private sector creates jobs, it doesn't come out of the taxpayer's pockets.

Very well said.  I couldn't have said it better myself.
