NickJr - Goes NickMom --- so inappropriate!

My kids love to watch NickJr.  I think it's great programming - "it's like preschool on TV"

Tonight after the kids were in bed I discovered NickMom - Basically it was a "mom comedian"

In a short 90 seconds what I heard was HILARIOUS but not suitable for NickJr!!!!   I'm sorry but Boobs and Ass are not words I wish to hear on NickJr.

A few minutes later I thought I'd give it another shot - new comedian talking about her stripper name and giving lap dances.  I literally LOL'd

But NOT appropriate for NickJr!!!!!  It aires from 10pm - 2am.  So it will not be seen by children, it's not meant to be seen by children.  But I just feel this was a poor choice by Nickeloden.  It makes me wonder what other poor choices they will be making.

How do you feel?

My kids are in bed EVERY NIGHT at 8. No big deal. I actually have been thoroughly entertained.

I want to know which Nick Jr Channel it is because the 2 All day everyday Nick Jr Channels on my Digital Cable only plays Nick JR stuff.. I have channel surfed recently and its still Kids programming.. Now the Nick Channel does Nick Jr, Nick, Teen Nick, then Nick at night which is old Adult shows and more adult programming but that been typical programming for years.

My kids were in bed by 8PM so I wouldn't have had to worry about that. We were careful of what the kids watched. But they were kids a long time ago when TV was alot more wholesome and genuinely funny without bad words and bad subject matter.

No cable here. Our TV is used very sparingly and never when my kid is awake. Who needs it?

If the kids were in bed, I'd have no problem. We're all, as parents, allowed "grown-up" television if it's what we wish to see.

Were this on in the middle of the day, I could see the issue.

I don't really like nick.  But I have no issue with it.  I mean Cartoon Network turns into adult swim late at night.  If kids are not going to be watching it, what is the big deal?

Nick is smart, appealing to a broader audience, if you ask me.  And they did it well, during a time when children are asleep, but adults are awake.  Their night time viewership is probably close to nothing.  I can not see the issue here.

It's not like preschool on TV. Preschool is not like TV at all. Not in any way, shape, or form.

I don't care what is on Nick after 9, kids shouldn't be watching tv that late anyway. I'm a good enough parent that i don't need everything to be candy coated  just in case my child is exposed to it.

That's silly. It's on at night.
