Obama is back in office. Can we stop the hate now?

I aim this at everyone that hates Obama because hes Obama (which is a lot of people). You are not getting him out of office which is what the last couple of years have been focused. So can we focus on rebuilding the nation now please?

It won't happen, sadly. Many people are stuck on the being strictly the other side, or even the same side, and wont put the shit aside to help the nation. Even when everything they have is at stake.

People voted for him based on religous issues, or based on the fact he is of the Christian faith. It's just about the same thing in my eyes.

Quoting YepYeah:

But if a Romney supporter said that they only voted for him because he was white.  A shit storm would occur

Quoting Sisteract:

Well, I suppose this is akin to voting soley on a social issue or my party only or how about only on one's own pocketbook?

Everyone has their buzz issue-

Quoting YepYeah:

Was watching local news interview people at various election watching events in which the people interviewed said "I don't care about the issues, I only voted for Obama because he is black like me"

Quoting Sisteract:

You have measurable proof of this?

Quoting YepYeah:

What about those who only voted for Obama because he was black.  Don't care about the issues or speeches only voted based on skin color.

Quoting Godgaveme4:

Ah yes, the if you did not vote for obama it is because he is black.  I was wondering when that was going to creep up.

Oh.....you mean can we stop the racial tension that Obama has brought with him?  Oh, sure.....once you get rid of the Black Panthers, the ACORN p[eople, Valerie Jarrett, Holder and so on and so on......

Plenty of people vote for single issue or no issues at all. My mother votes Democrat because hER family always voted Democrat. Is it a good reason? No but that is what she has always done. Do you really think every single voter studied all the issues and based their decision on that?? People vote because someone is from their hometown, they don't like someone's name, etc. I've heard all kinds of crazy reasons but guess what? It's America!!

See you got the whole thing wrong in your first sentence.  We don't hate OBAMA...it is his policies we dislike.

There will be no nation building in the next 4 years...no matter how much I wish there would be.  There will be increased taxes, more job outsourcing and a lot more debt....the amount of which we have right this minute couldn't be paid off if we took all the assets of everyone in the nation....literally left them nake/homeless in the streets.  That DEBT is going to be our undoing...it is only a matter of time before we start defaulting.

I did not vote for Obama this time around. (Just for the record I am a Democrat). However, as an American I hope that he does well this second term because it benefits not only me, but the entire country. I don't hate Obama, I just don't like the directlion (more towards socialism,) he is taking this country. Whatever he does this term will be his legacy. I will support him though and move on. I have the holdiays to think of now, lol :)

I know this is late but I wasn't on here last night... But he just got defeated give him time to take it on..show me anyone who is excited cause they lost a big race. I am sure Obama would have acted dissapointed if he didn't get relected in. I didn't see how Romney was acting cause I didn't watch an tv that was covering the election.

Quoting mrsjksimmons:

Uh no? Look at how Romney is acting right now. I think that says it all.

Romney refused to concede that he lost for like an hour and a half. He basically refused to believe that the president had won Ohio. It wasn't pretty much until Colorado had been called for President Obama that he conceded defeat. He was acting like a petulant child.

Are you ignoring the people who support Mitt Romney or that are against President Obama?

Because I can go into any Obama won Topic and there are plenty of sore losers there. Even in this Topic there are Sore Losers.

I am not saying there are not 'sore' winners. But if you cannot see the sore Losers then there is either something wrong with your vision or you have a lot of bias stuck in your eye.

Quoting Godgaveme4:

Sore losers?  I have not read any posts showing sore losers.  But, on the other hand i have seen some pretty sore winners.

But carry on....
