Socialite Jill Kelley thought she was going to be an honorary consul to Korea. Right.
Jill Kelley is a delusional sycophant. Her naivete just caught up with her; fueled, no doubt, by a sense of entitlement not uncommon among the wealthy but embarrassing to everyone else. While the majority of our top brass are honorable, Petraeus' indiscretions confirm that power, in one way or another, usually corrupts.
Maybe he was just messin' with her mind. Maybe he owed her big time. Or maybe she's just a legend in her own mind.
What do you think about her story? Did General Petraeus really ask her to be an honory consul to Korea, brokering trade agreements for the U.S.?
