...away from my police drama, I finished the 34th Annual "Turkey Trot" 2-mile run/walk at Kent State University this morning. First "race" I've "competed" in since 2006. Ok, so I didn't really look at it as a race, and I certainly wasn't competing---I walked, and finished in 64th place out of 95 finishers in my age division, which was 1,214th over-all out of 1,623, but hey---its a start, right? I plan to make an attempt at running in this year's "Jingle Bell Run" on December 29th, and I will be competing (yes---competing) in the 2013 "O24", with a goal of 32 miles (50 kilometers).
My twin sister, Kim, however, finished 2nd place for her age division in the 5-mile run.

Good girl! I walked a sum total of 30 minutes of hills this AM and then promptly ate caramel French toast- My parents just came back from walking 5 miles on the beach. I am the lazy one today.
