I Need the Top 10 "Company's Coming! Holiday Housecleaning in a Hurry" Tips For My Blog. Whatcha got?
What do you do to get your house "company ready" in a hurry? How do you prioritize? Do you put your family to work?
Or maybe you don't care at all. If that's the case, you don't need to respond : ) I'm looking for great tips.
Here's mine: Impress your mother-in-law. Wipe chrome faucets with waxed paper and make them sparkle.
Thanks a bunch!
I don't clean for family, they know me. I only clean for people I want to impress. Right now there isn't anyone on the list.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. = )
I find that if you wipe down your baseboards, your hardwood floor and your walls look better.

I guess if the dust is gone from the baseboards it makes the walls and
floor seem cleaner?
If your house is commonly well kept, tidy, and clean, you can replace the light bulbs with 150 watts. When it's this intense, you will find lots of things to clean that you didn't notice. When you are done change the light bulbs back to the normal. Even you will be impressed by how nice everything looks.
If you wipe down you bathroom with your used fabric softener sheets, your bathroom smells really great and it cleans the sinks and faucets really well. :)
Oh and if you have vinyl or tile floors, really hot water and a half cup of peroxide makes them very clean, very quick!!
Do you mean company coming over for dinner clean? Or like people coming to stay for a few nights?
If people are just coming for dinner I shove as much crap as possible into my bedroom and shut the door, lol.
Hand the kids a squirt bottle of water and a rag. They love scrubbing all things below the waist.
