I had to laugh, in a wry manner since the circumstances are so serious, that one reason given for not supporting  (by Britain, for one, if I recall correctly) the move is....get this: they were afraid that Palestine would take case of war crimes by Israel before the UN criminal court. 

Welllll duh. Why the fuck shouldn't they? Poor widdle Israel...always wanting a pass...

 That was the exact reason they tried to block it, them and the U.S.
