Assad Has Unleashed Chemical Weapons In Aleppo!! (GRAPHIC)

Posted by   + Show Post

Fears of the worst possible scenario in Syria have been confirmed in a video released by rebels that shows victims of chemical warfare.

An almost sure sign that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has unleashed his chemical weapons for use against rebels is his regime’s claim on Saturday that rebels are preparing to use chemicals in their uprising. Assad systematically has accused opposition forces, which he labels as “foreign terrorists,” of carrying out attacks and murders for which his own loyalists are responsible.

Assad’s last warning to rebels before using chemical weapons. West, Israel on high preparedness

The danger that Syrian ruler Bashar Assad will now resort to chemical warfare shot up Saturday afternoon, Dec. 8, after the rebels captured the “chloride factory” at Al Safira east of Aleppo.

This is a codename for the Syrian army’s biggest chemical weapons store and base, which also houses Syrian Scud D missiles armed with chemical warheads adjusted to fire at Israel.

Assad’s warning to the rebels not to fight with chemical weapons is taken as a means of justifying his own resort to chemical weapons and brought this threat closer than ever before.

Military sources disclosed that US, Israeli, Jordanian and Turkish special forces are spread out on the ground in Syria, armed with special gear for combating chemical arms.

They are close enough to count the convoys carrying canisters, shells or bombs loaded with poison gas and their reports are supplemented by orbiting US military surveillance satellites and drones able to pinpoint the position of the chemical munitions at any given moment.

Also reported on Saturday is that the rebels had seized a “chlorine factor” at Al Safir, the cover name for Bashar Assad’s largest chemical store and base, where also he keeps Syrian Scud D missiles armed with chemical warheads ready to fire at Israel.

The strange thing about these tactics is this: If “US officials” – military and intelligence – were able to keep track step by step of the movements of Syria’s poisonous weapons, believe that sooner or later Assad will use them and have issued grave warnings, why didn’t they take preventive action in good time?

Syria’s rebel leaders have agreed to come under a united command in a bid to integrate diverse fighting groups and streamline the route for arms essential to their struggle against President Bashar al-Assad.

The new body, expected to be announced officially on Sunday, hopes to form the basis of a united rebel front.

That cleared it up for me.

I am not sure if I have given your comprehension skills too much credit in the past, or you simply misread something. My point was there were no weapons of WMD. The same way that this video is fake. Going to war over WMD was silly-There were none. Implying that we should have gone to war quicker and more efficiently earlier because of this video proves my point that rushing to war is not the best idea.

The video is likely fake. IF we did rush to war over this (I am not saying you suggested that) it would end up another pointless war that we rushed into. Implying that we should have rushed to war in Iraq over this (Which you are saying) just show cases how wrong your philosophy is to a T. Because the video is likely a fake and it shows just how easily and willingly you are ready to go to war.

No matter how timely and efficient we were in Iraq we would not have found any WMD.

Quoting brookiecookie87:

How so?

You were ready to suggest we should have gone to full out war and kill people. And this video is likely a fake with no substance to it.

Which reminds me of the same situation with WMD's. What WMD's! Let's go to war. Oh no WMD's? Oops.

Proves my point to a T.

If Liberals are what stop us from going to a pointless war everytime something comes up. Thank God for Liberals.

Quoting Billiejeens:

You all can agree with each other and high five all you want. It is a false premise.

Quoting katzmeow726:

Agreed.

Quoting brookiecookie87:

So the outcome is a LOT more people alive?

Thank god for Liberals. Otherwise we would end up in a war that last forever everytime anyone did anything.

Quoting Billiejeens:

Hoping no one is really surprised, we knew Iraq sent all the WMD's into Syria, while Bush pussyfooted around, before the invasion.

If he had just gone in broke everything and killed everybody, the US would be better off, Iraq would be better off, and the Syrian people would be better off.

This is the outcome when we try to appease Liberals.

 Bush admitted there were none

Rice admitted there were none

Had he listened to liberals, we wouldn't have wasted time money and lives for no reason....

targeted covert ops would have taken out Sadaam, Osama and decimated Al Queda

Condoleezza Rice regrets there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq

In an appearance on ABC's "The View" this morning, just-departed secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said she regretted that faulty intelligence had reported that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but had no regrets that U.S. troops toppled dictator Saddam Hussein from power.
Rice announced recently that she hopes to return to Stanford University as a political science professor after eight controversial years in the Bush administration -- first as national security adviser and then as secretary of State.
She demurred on questions about whether she voted for Barack Obama, the first African American elected president, although the day after the election she expressed pride, as a black American, that the nation had reached that milestone.

Maybe during Reagan's administration and in the 1990's. HERE:

http://www.theinsider.org/news/article.asp?id=504

Iraq's WMD - Made in America

The US government had been selling WMD to Iraq since Ronald Reagan was President, and probably for even longer. Until at least as late as George Bush's presidency, the USA continued to arm Iraq with nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.

American exports to Iraq, with the full knowledge and approval of the US government, included regular shipments of anthrax, botulism, West Nile fever, brucella melitensis, and other materials used in germ warfare. Other routine shipments included chemical warfare agent precursors, detailed plans for chemical weapons production facilities, chemical and biological warhead filling equipment, as well as delivery systems, missile production equipment and missile guidance systems.

WMD shipments from the US to Iraq continued long after the mass gassing of Kurds in Halabja, 1988; an incident which US intelligence blamed on Iran at the time, but the story was revised to make Saddam Hussein the evil-doer not long before the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

********************************************

So, how about that? We sent them weapons for a LONG time. Hmmmm.

But do we know that there were any WMD's in 2003 when George said there were? It looks like George was wrong, as evidenced by the information in Sweet's replies. I think we all found out that his motivation for going to war was wrong.
