On Sunday, the winner of American Idol's Season 3, Fantasia Barrino posted a photo on Instragram with a caption in which the singer revealed she felt "judged" and what was taken by some to be an anti gay marriage message. She wrote:

I Rise ABOVE IT ALL!!! THE WORLD IS GONE MAD. KIDS, THE GOVERNMENT THE church House... Everybody Trying!!!!!!! Its a lot that going on that the Bible speaks about we should Not be doing. Weed legal in some places, Gay Marriage Legal BUT YET IM JUDGED!!! I'm not doing Nothing for you... My Life!!!!

As of now, the photo has been removed from her account and a statement on Barrino's behalf has been released by her publicist signaling that the singer's words were taken out of context and that she's been a supporter of the LGBT community throughout her career.

Despite the damage control efforts, the public remains skeptical of what Barrino meant by her comment and confused as to why she feels so judged.

Since winning 'Idol' in 2004 Barrino has had a tough time coping with stardom. In 2010 the performer attempted suicide by overdosing on a bottle of Aspirin. When she addressed the issue during an interview with 'Good Morning America', she said that people don't understand the pressure that comes with being a celebrity.

"I always take a licking and keep on ticking... It just became heavy for me to the point that I just wanted to be away from the noise... There's so much that people don't understand. They just see the glitz and the glamour, and they feel like life is so perfect, but we're human and we go through things," she said.

Barrino is set to appear at the 2013 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in New Orleans in February.

Yeah... I don't understand any of it.

'we go through things' has to be the winner statement of the whole thing...

She talked about how there are things the bible says we shouldn't be doing, and then mentions weed being legal, gay marriage being legal, but she is judged? Seems anti gay marriage to me.

Why is this trainwreck shell of a human still garner publicity?  She is a trashbag that proves some people will never better themselves, no matter how many opportunities are handed to them.
