I need some ideas. I am trying to pay it forward to a family. Mom (27), dad (27), and two daughters (1 and 8). As far as I know they are not hurting for anything. She lives in Mabou NS Canada and there isn't a whole lot to do.e verything is over an hour away. I live over a thousand miles away, so it has to be something that can be done though the mail.

Please help.

I guess I just do not see the point in it not making the persons life better. Like hand up.

Once I  got a banana split kit in the mail.  It  had several jars of toppings and some beautiful banana split dishes and even a jar a marichino cherries.  All we needed to do was buy the ice cream and bananas.  I thought it was an awesome gift.

How far you go in life depends on your being: tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of both the weak and strong.  Because someday in life you would have been one or all of these.  GeorgeWashingtonCarver

Could be for anyone. Giving isn't limited to poor people.

I participated in a pay it forward.

I bought people in the drive through behind me coffee.

I put neighbors trashcans back up on a very windy day.

I shoveled an elderly woman's driveway a few weeks ago.

Op, since it has to go buy mail you could write them something or send a thinking of you card.

It is the phrase "paying it forward" is what I am questioning. Gifting is universal and can be to anyone for any reason of course.

I also may have mis phrased. I meant people in need of something not necessarily poor people exclusively.
