Has anyone gone out to see it yet? I watched it last night and loved it. There were points I couldn't watch (just too real and graphic) but gave it high marks. Anyone else have thoughts on the movie?

 It was what I expected from him, I am a big fan and if you have seen "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"...what Leo did in Django is really just mediocre Leo.

I liked Samuel's performance more.

I also think Jamie killed it...I really, really was pleasantly surprised.

I LOVE how Tarantino handled the viewer's emotions; despite ample bloodshed, I felt he managed to balance the emotional reactions pretty well.

And as a white person, I was surprised at how I felt no remorse. An eye for an eye holds no color boundary it seems. I was right there with the shooter, the whole time.

I also postulate that tarantino might have known what he was doing with his use of the en word, ad nauseum.

One of my favorite scenes is when Django is about to kill his first 'real' bounty, you felt his discomfort of doing this in front of his son. The debate between him and Shultz really kind of shed light on both characters and where they come from. I really wasn't bothered by the constant use of the n word. I felt it would've been used in a common way like that. I haven't seen the interview, do you have a link?

I cannot wait! Pulp fiction and reservoir Dogs are 2 of my favorites:) I love pretty much all his work.
