It still isn't in our theaters. I'm dying to see it. I'm a big Terentino fan.
Quoting ashellbell:
Dang, how is it not there yet?

I know! I know! He was sooooo good in Inglorious Basterds.
Nother QT homerun.
Quoting ashellbell:
He's amazing. I never thought I could see him playing a 'good guy' role and now I couldn't imagine anyone else playing that part. And Don Johnson? Really?
Quoting Momniscient:I loved it.
Cinematically it was almost perfect except it was just two scenes too long.
I LOVE Christoph Waltz.

Quoting Stephanie329:
I stand corrected! It's showing in the evening only - no matinee. I'm going tomorrow :)

Ooohhh I forgot about Common. He really would've played that character in an awesome fashion. Gah, he's secksy. What did you think about Leo's performance?
Quoting Radarma:
Quoting ashellbell:
Really? I thought he did an awesome job. I was sketchy going in to it, but he really impressed me. Who would you have rather seen?
Quoting Paperfishies:
I liked it. Really wish Tarantino would have picked someone besides Jamie Foxx.
Common, nekkid.
**dar nods**
It was what I expected from him, I am a big fan and if you have seen "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"...what Leo did in Django is really just mediocre Leo.
I liked Samuel's performance more.
I also think Jamie killed it...I really, really was pleasantly surprised.
I LOVE how Tarantino handled the viewer's emotions; despite ample bloodshed, I felt he managed to balance the emotional reactions pretty well.
And as a white person, I was surprised at how I felt no remorse. An eye for an eye holds no color boundary it seems. I was right there with the shooter, the whole time.
I am glad you posted! I hope more see it and chime in.
I think Tavis and Spike are wrong!
I also postulate that tarantino might have known what he was doing with his use of the en word, ad nauseum.
Hey Ashbelle, did you see the clip of Samuel and the young white journalist? (pertains to the movie, lol)

I think it's one of his best films. I don't know how anyone couldn't like it. Have fun!
