I posted this in another group, so if you have already played, then pass up answering...LOL.

We rent our home. A while back I was looking for an item I barely use in the kitchen and reached waaaaaay back into a corner cabinet and pulled out this thing:

It took me while to find out what it was...Do you know? Have you ever used one of these?

*Edit* Answer on pg 3, pictures on pg 5

Is it cast iron? My first guess was something to do with cornbread (no idea...)I which sounded logical in my head. I thought egg poacher, then thought that was just silly... :/

It is cast iron, but it is not created to cook eggs. However, I have discovered that you can do that with it.
