Since you know not every child is Christian, why don't you understand why it is wrong to have Christian prayer in public schools?
This is sort of a spin off from the post about the teacher removing her religious posters from her classroom, etc. In that post some Christians objected to their God being "taken out of schools" in the form of school led prayers, etc. My question to them is this:
What is it about the OTHER religions and non religions of people and their children other than Christians that you do not understand? If you understand the fact that not every child is Christian, then why don't you understand why it is wrong to have the Christian God represented in public schools?
Exactly this.
Quoting romalove:Willful ignorance and sense of entitlement because of supermajority.
And this.
Quoting ArianEponae:
Didn't you know that Christians are right and everyone else doesn't matter?
They that people going to any lengths to try and stop them is the same as being bullied and picked on. They think that others who don't like it just shouldn't participate, but they don't want to give equal privilages to everyone either.
They know darn well that if a muslim teacher tried to lead a muslim prayer for students, people would throw a hissy. Any religion for that matter. Not just muslim, but in the case of a muslim there would probably be some "terrorist" hysteria too. Ridiculous.
