When I first got married I never took it off until I got pregnant and couldn't wear it. When we replaced the diamond I learned that it was better for the ring if I didn't sleep or shower with it on so I took it off at night and put it back on after my shower.
Quoting Ktina11:No mine never comes off. My mother takes hers off for dishes etc.
I always take my rings off at night and put them back when I remember I own rings.
I do not wear my rings at work-
I take it off for a couple days each month, when I'm retaining water around the start of my period. I take it off when I'm working with papier mache, driveway sealant, polyurethane, paint, etc, or doing carpentry or heavy gardening work where it could injure me. It's not like I'm rejecting my marriage when I slip it off for comfort, ease of cleanup, or safety. It's a piece of jewelry, not a marriage.
Quoting FunnyKids:Off for all water/sink/shower related things I cannot stand the thought of losing it
Quoting Sisteract:I do not wear my rings at work-
Or making bread, gardening....
