So what influenced you to be heterosexual?

Seriously. Portia makes me reconsider my own sexuality.
He Man and She Ra could totally be to blame for a lot of homosexuality ;)
Quoting thecoffeefairy:
No, but her wife may be to blame. It could also have been he man and she ra. I never could decide which one I liked more.
Quoting Momniscient:I hope it's not Ellen's fault ;)
Quoting thecoffeefairy:
I'm not ...

I cannot get past the blue waffle. How can I come up with a witty response when thrown of guard by a blue waffle? lol

It's because of comments like this that threads like this shouldn't be deemed as "getting old."

Do you want the whole Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve thing?
No, people post threads like this just to insite the Christians. WE are the ones getting tired of the topic. We're not going to change our views just cuz y'all keep questioning and mocking our beliefs.
Poodles, I don't think most are challenging or mocking your beliefs I think they are hoping to gain better insight to the whole homosexual/heterosexual attraction. Did someone or something influence it, or was it natural. Just like you cannot image yourself in a same gender relationship whether G-d has called it taboo or not, others cannot image themselves in a man-woman relationship or a bi-sexual relationship. I as well as others interpret G-d's commandment differently but that is another topic. So, I hope for sake of this debate, no one was inciting or baiting you and other Christians beliefs.
Not much mocking in this post, but you surely must see it happens--a lot --to the Christians here. We are heckled and put down for our beliefs. I have a few that think I'm an idiot and have said so. Our beliefs are just so foreign to their "scientific" minds that they just can't fathom where we're coming from.
Well to be fair, there's a fair amount of bashing that goes on against people that are not Christian also, or liberal, atheists, etc. I totally understand your point on view, I really do, but let's all be honest and say it goes both ways.

You're right. I cannot fathom "I believe you are disgusting and unnatural and wrong, and you need to repent. But I only say that because I love you."

As someone else pointed out, many people's beliefs are bashed and mocked. Not just yours.
I was exposed to heterosexual pornography as a very young girl. Seeing women and men having sex influenced my decision. Plus experiencing orgasm with a man in my teens pretty much sealed it for me. I like sex with men, and before I am asked, NO, I have never had sex with a woman.

Huh?
I'm Christian. We are not persecuted. At all.
