Maybe if We All Prayed Together for the Little Boy in the Bunker . . .
Maybe, if we all prayed this morning, right now, today -- to any God or Higher Power you choose, if only for 30 seconds-- that . .
Young Ethan in that frightening underground hell-hole, will feel peace, and the knowledge that that he is loved, and not give up hope.
Ethan's mother will know that so many surround her in spirit, give their emotional support, and stand by her in solidarity against senseless violence.
Old Dyke, blistering with anger, fear and hatred, will realize the boy is just an innocent, has done nothing to hurt him, and give himself up.
All the emergency responders will maintain their composure and act with rational thought to bring this grievous standoff to an end.
Maybe, if we all prayed . . .
Of course you don't have to be Christian to pray, but here's a quote from the Bible that illustrates why I think it's important to pray together:
Matthew 18:20
King James Version (KJV)
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
Quoting ashellbell:
Why do we all have to? Good doesn't get moved by just one?
Is this a joke?
I want peace and freedom for that poor child and if I felt prayer worked I would have been praying and I would continue until he was free.
No one has to open a post. No one is obliged to do anything. Except to be respectful of others.
Quoting Veni.Vidi.Vici.:
Is this a joke?
I want peace and freedom for that poor child and if I felt prayer worked I would have been praying and I would continue until he was free.
This
Quoting ..MoonShine..:
I have been-but likely not to the same god that you want me to. I'm sorry you are only now thinking to do so. And only fir 30 seconds.
I'm afraid you miss the point.
