Why do managers think they can treat crew members mean and talk to them like theyare stupid?
I try not to be mean when I talk to our team, however, sometimes it can come across as abrassive only becuase I have to make it clear if its not done, ur gone. Its not that I myself would be talking to someone as if they are stupid, its just that I have to get the message across.
I agree its rude. I try not to do that. You wouldn't believe how exhausting it is sometimes though. Not saying you personally, but some people don't listen or it goes in one ear and out the other. I hate that.
I do however believe that if you feel like you are being treated unfairly you should be able to go over your managers and get the general manager involved, possibly that might help.
Welcome to the real world. :) My Lit professor won't even answer an email with more than two spelling or grammatical errors. You could email her "My grandmna died I gotta go out of town sorry" and she would respond saying she did not understand your email and to please revise it and try again.
Have you tried acting like a professional adult in the workplace?
Maybe because the crew members talk in text speak?
Lucky guess?
Quoting dancer:Yes! How did you know?
Quoting ReadWriteLuv:As in, like, the crew at McDonalds?
