Have you ever been in a situation where your idea was verbalized or an action took place that was ground breaking but another person took credit for it or was recognized for what happened?

If so, what happened? How did you feel about it?

I have... I explained it to my boss and I was given a raise. 

However, they never corrected the person, because it was another manager. (-_-) I was kind of irked
