Should churches, pastors, or judges be sued for not wanting to perform a wedding ceremony?

You don't seem to get that not all states require judges to perform ceremonies.   They can do it at their discretion.

I don't know about judges, but it doesn't make sense to force a religious organization or it's leaders to marry someone.  What would it mean to force a rabbi to marry a Christian couple or the opposite?  Marriage within a religion typically involves religious ritual and ceremony that are not appropriate for believers of other faiths (e.g. non-Catholics taking the Catholic version of communion or Non-Jews saying Jewish blessings).

But not all states require judges to perform these ceremonies.  They are authorized to perform them but not required.
