Do you practice it?
If so, do you give something up or do something daily you don't normally do?
A woman I worked with gave up chocolate one year, and she's a chocoholic so it was difficult. But she's not really a drinker (occasional glass of wine) so giving up alcohol would have been easy. And in my opinion, a bit of a cop out.
Nope. I joke about giving up sex but my husband doesn't seem to appreciate that particular sacrifice.
My church has a special Fat Tuesday pot lock tonight and I'm going to give up diet coke. I've been trying to break the habit for a while, it's my one big vice, and so I figured now was as good of a time as any. Plus, I do much better when other people know I'm trying to give something up.
Tonight is pancakes, bacon, sausage, and breakfast tacos at church.

My church is doing pancakes and sausage too and then you're suppose to bring anything you're giving up for lent. I do wonder if anyone is going to be bringing alcohol tonight. :)
