Those that think negative about those who are Christian yes. You can be a non Christian and not thing there is anything wrong with Christianity or with ppl choosing to be Christian. But if you think there is something wrong with choosing to be a Christian then YES.
Quoting KamWorthy:
Oh so those who don't believe or agree with the Christian lifestyle are negative, haters?Quoting ReginaStar:My response was b/c you said that you do not support the homosexual lifestyle and it goes against your beliefs. THAT can be offensive to homosexuals just as someone saying my marriage goes against their beliefs. It's a statement that is saying that those living that lifestyle are wrong.
Homophobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings toward homosexuality or people who are identified or perceived as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). It can be expressed as antipathy, contempt, prejudice, aversion, or hatred, and may be based on irrational fear.
Not believing in one's lifestyle is a negative feeling.
Quoting RandiBear:
No, calling me a homophobe is saying I either fear or hate them because of the choices they make. I do not have a "problem" with it. If I had a problem with it, I wouldn't have friends who are gay and I wouldn't be a supporter of gay marriage, or of gay adoption. Hell, some of the BEST parents I know are gay. I don't think of people according to their skin color or sexuality. I think of them as humans and treat people equally. I only have a "problem" with people who give me REASON to have a problem. Saying I have a PROBLEM with gay people because they are gay would be the same as saying gay people have a problem with me because I'm not...it's stupid. They no more believe in being with somebody of the opposite gender than I believe in being with somebody of the same gender. I am bisexual. I CHOOSE a heterosexual life because the person I fell in love with is a man. My religion had LITTLE to do with my choice to live as a heterosexual woman. So again, I do not have a problem with it, I have a PROBLEM with people calling me a homophobe simply because they ask what I believe and I tell them. Wrong for me, doesn't mean I give two shits from Friday what they do with their sex life. I don't care about ANYONES sex life unless they are sleeping with my DH.

Quoting RandiBear:Why does a difference in opinion automatically constitute hate? I do not support a homosexual lifestyle, it goes against my beliefs....but I also have a transgendered sister, a bisexual sister, and several gay friends. I don't have to SUPPORT their choices to love them. And yes, the life you lead IS a choice...but that doesn't mean they weren't born with those natural instincts.
What ticks me off is that when I voice my opinion and say "I don't support the lifestyle" I get called a homophobe. I have ZERO phobias about homosexuality. I'm not the least bit disturbed by it...but I really dislike being referred to as a hater of people just because I disagree with them. I also disagree with straight couples with open marriages, who choose to live together without marriage, who are swingers....I don't HATE them...I just don't like how they live. I don't have to though, because it's not my life.
I also do not support our government denying marriage rights. Until this country declares a national religion that dictates heterosexuality, they have NO right to say people cannot be married. I don't believe in a government with that much say in my personal life and anyone who does...remember this: today you are in the majority, one day you wont be...and when that day comes and YOUR rights are repressed remember how you were okay with THEIR rights being repressed and don't bitch.
I think it's b/c were at some crossroads in our society. I don't think most have issues with you not believing in their lifestyle as long as your still supporting marriage equality.
It one sense I totally get where your coming from. It's against your moral beliefs weather that's religious our not. Nothing wrong with having different beliefs right. But then I think about interracial marriage. They are ppl just the same who do not not agree with it. They may believe it's against their morals religious or not. But they may support marriage equality therefore not believe they have the right to stop interracial marriages. Can I respect that? NO. Not to long ago a church would not let an interracial couple be members of their church. No I can not respect their personal beliefs. Yes I consider them racist. Well it's the same thing. Your against their lifestyle, their family, how could you expect them to respect your belief that they are wrong, nasty, or whatever you see them as? Calling you homophobic is simply saying you have issues with them or their lifestyle which you do.
Doesn't matter. Everyone knows who she is there is no denying it. Not sure why she continues to lie. Shows her true character.
Quoting Peanutx3:Isn't it funny that someone who protests so much to not be somebody else but all those posts calling her by her actual name that she claims to not be get deleted?
Quoting thecoffeefairy:
A strong dislike of a person, action or group. Heterosexual awareness is nothing more than a jab at homosexuality. I have never experienced negativity over being in a heterosexual relationship. No one I know has been judged for being in a heterosexual relationship. It is a social norm to be heterosexual. The entire reason for this awareness is to disregard homosexuality and homopbia. It is hateful.
Quoting KamWorthy:
Define HATE.
Quoting thecoffeefairy:
It's a hate group.
Quoting ReginaStar:No I do not support the beliefs that the gay lifestyle is wrong or ugly. Why would she be offended? Her heterosexual life is being told it is wrong or ugly. Her beliefs are that someone else's lifestyle is wrong not her own. She has every right to feel how she fels, believe whatever she wants but she has to accept that yes she is being offensive and she has to accept that just as she's other people lifestyle as wrong others or going to see her opinion as ugly/wrong too. What she is asking is that she can have her belief that is disrespectful to others and yet others not condemn her for it. It just doesn't work that way.
Quoting 12hellokitty:
Not supporting a lifestyle is now considered hate? Do you not support RB's beliefs? Are you implying her beliefs are wrong? Just guessing but I doubt RB's is offended by others not agreeing with her beliefs, this is how tolerance is supposed to work.

LOL typically it needs to be reported before the admins will delete it.
