My grandmother recently passed away, so I'm in mourning and will be wearing black.
I might wear green jewelry.
DD4 had "green day" at pre-k on Friday. The only green shirt I could find that fit her was her older sisters Christmas shirt with penguins and Christmas trees on it. So that is what she wore. lol
Quoting Woodbabe:Yes I am, but just to cement my smart ass-ness it will be a Christmas Grinch t-shirt....
St. Patrick's day is our Anniversary! :) It was also my Grandma's birthday and since she passed before we were married, we married on that day in her honor.
We are going out tonight for our big night by ourselves because there is a murder mystery dinner theater but it is only on Friday and Saturday nights, not on Sunday. So the sitter will have the kids all afternoon and she stays the night too.
Tomorrow we will go out to dinner as a family -- kind of a Family-versary. We would go to the zoo too, but it is going to rain, so we are going to go to the Zoo on Monday or Tuesday I think.
But to answer your question, yeah we will wear green. We have green hats and beads too! :)
No. I grew up with a father who always wore orange on St. Patrick's Day so I never got into wearing green.
