Poll

Question: Do you know someone in your life who is gay (you can not count yourself !!! BUT you CAN count your partner)

Options:

Yes, I do

No, I do not

Other: for the life of me I do not know why you would want an "other" option but if I don't someone is apt to complain! So, this is for you!

So, I'm curious, just how many people have a LGBT person in their life. Think about it, the person you see everyday in your community, the postal worker, your child's teacher/coach, your neighbor or more personal, your BFF, your brother/sister, aunt/uncle, your parent or grandparent.

I will make this simple. A POLL!!!!

I know quite a few people who are gay. I don't see the big deal.

Other is a good option for those who would never be friends with a gay person but really are and don't know it.

But for some, "it" IS a "big deal"

I thought it would be neat to see the numbers visually. My guess is, the "yes" side will be much higher than the "no"

I know. Makes me sad that people are so unaccepting of things that are different from themselves. I have better things to do than spread hate and carry around that much negativity.

It's a sad irony in life, that all the best guys are gay.

Our oldest (longest old, not age old) couple friendship is a gay couple. We started dating our partners around the same time about 25 years ago. We vacation together and they are on the list of folks who could take our children if anything ever happened to us.

We have other gay friends and co-workers and my step brother is gay.

They are just people in our lives, no different than anyone else.

My BFF is asexual. Seems like folks have a harder time accepting her than the GL folks in our lives.

Hmm. I thought there'd be at least 1 No...
