As a public service to homophobes...

Posted by   + Show Post

...since marriage equality will become the law of the land, most of you will have to get used to seeing ecstatic same-sex couples celebrating. You know, kissing & hugging when the ruling is handed down...then the requisite news bits of same-sex couples' celebratory hugging and kissing...coverage of happy same-sex couples, newly wed, celebrating their union with...hugging and kissing...

So! To help y'all get used to it, I'm gonna provide some desensitization therapy. For free! All you gotta do is just come on this post, frequently as possible, and browse through all the photos!!

Good luck, and may your minds and hearts open, your bigotry and ignorance just melt away...

...and ladies, feel free to post your own!

That is a sad fact and we can only hope and pray that it is able to be stopped.

This is why it's so uneven to post something here, If I don't agree with one person's point of view, someone feels they have to ask me non-pertinent questions. "I" said I do not agree with the gay lifestyle, I said nothing about my husband, assuming I have one? I really do believe that we can all co-exist and RESPECT one another, and in this life, we have to cultivate the art of accepting that we ALL have to agree to disagree like civilized people.

Marriage is a legal contract....

holy matrimony is a religious rite...

please keep this in mind when you argue "call it something else"

Pretty scary people.

Oh come on. I know you're not a hateful person. The gayz aren't gonna try to run ya down, kiss on ya & give ya the gay or something...

I know you don't support marriage equality, but scary?? Scary is the non-stop PMS I just got over, after getting another period 17 days after the last one...

I was teasing...I'm not afraid of gays...and I have even been kissed by gays---they didn't give me a disease or anything.  ;)

I believe in equality for gays too---very much so.  Just don't call it a marriage.  Don't redefine marriage, don't change what God defined---call it something else and I'm good.  Gays should not have to suffer for their choices.  They are every much a person as a straight--and God loves them too.

Yikes...hope you're feeling better.  That's rough.

What's scary is that you think those people are scary.

no, did you not see my tongue in my cheek?  I'm laughing.  They are not scary at all---they are only doing whay they want to do.  I do what I want to do---they can too.  ;)

Gays don't scare me---I'm not a "phobe".  lol

My apologies, poodles.

Nope...not afraid of gays--I have no problem with them.  It's the act of homosexuality that I disagree with----the people themselves are fine.

You said they were pretty scary people. In your comments. I highlighted it in RED.

And what is it about "the act of homosexuality" that you disagree with when it is  just the same kind of thing that all married or unmarried heterosexual or homosexual couples do? They make love. In many and varied ways. Its all the same---two people who love each other and want to express it.

How can people loving each other be scary?

Just because I and others do not agree with same sec marriage it does not mean we are closed minded or homophones. Actually most of our minds are pretty open and we have clear thought out reasons for our beliefs and listen to other's reasons. I have homosexuals in my family who know my stance on the issue but also know I love them. You call us all these names and label us and don't see that you are being our judge and jury.
