The injury in the Duke - Louisville game? We were all crying. Everybody at the game was crying. The players and the coaches were crying. I've never seen anything like that before.

My first thought was Joe Theisman.

Saw it . You don't expect to see that kind of broken leg in a basketball game. Football maybe. I started crying, and I covered my eyes immediately,

His parents weren't there. Can you imagine seeing that happen to your child on tv?

Quoting LindaClement:

Horrible --from all directions. The poor guy!

Quoting LauraKW:

I was wondering if anyone in the stands threw up. It broke in multiple places, multiple bones.

Quoting LindaClement:

Barf.

My kids were on the field when a guy broke his femur in rugby... they said they could hear it clear across the pitch. Gag. One of the other players actually barfed, it was so gross.

Quoting LauraKW:

Guy broke his leg in multiple places right on the court. I can't even put into words how horrible it was.

Quoting ashellbell:

Oh no what happened?

I just went and watched a video of it.  Holy shit.  Good change of fixing it, but not likely to play b-ball again.

He'll definitely have some hardware in his leg. Hope his surgery is going well.

Same. Hubby saw that live. Bone and all. Hubby just watched this video on YouTube. The faces he was making, I can't watch it. Not much disturbs him.

Yea that was pretty horrifying. My husband called me I to the living room to "watch this guy make this crazy play." And then put it in slow motion.

Awful injury.  Just awful
