Spell check would help you a lot.

I do read a lot but I don't take these "One World" conspiracy theorists seriously . Not at all.

 IGNOREnce is bliss.

Quoting lga1965:

LOL,sure.

Quoting HunnyBabie:

You're not old enough or young enough to recognize that what you just said is a complete contradiction.

Check out that book.

I bet you think you're a Christian too, don't you?  Check out that book.  It is exactly what the title says; it's an overview of the prevailant view of the world in Western Europe and America throughout modern history.  I think you'll find it eye-opening.

Quoting lga1965:

 I'm a Democrat but I'm not a Socialist.

I am just fine, thank you.

Quoting HunnyBabie:

 Are you ok?

I said I don't want wealth re-distributed.  I want the government to 1. get their legislating fingers out of the market (saying a person cannot work for less than x means that anyone who can only do work worth After that, you have the haves taking what they have overseas, etc and the have-nots dependant upon the civil government and everyone is complaining about everyone else and begging the government to create MORE LEGISLATION to "even things out" b/c "it's not fair".

Guess what?  The socialists, I mean, democrats don't care about money; THEY CARE ABOUT POWER.  Let me clue you in, they care about instituting socialist governments all over the world (which, BTW, they are succeeding at).  Then there will be a world governmental body (every heard of the new world order, that's the socialists' name for it) and that governing body is supposed (according to the socialists) to give birth to the utopian communism which will end all need for all other government.

Check out Prevailing Worldviews of Western Society Since 1500 by Dr. Glenn Martin.

Quoting lga1965:

Do you want the Waltons and the others in the 1% to share with the rest of us? If you do, then you believe in redistribution of wealth and that's Socialism. Oh well....big smile mini

Quoting HunnyBabie:

THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!

That's apalling!!!  How can 6 ppl own more than 40% of the rest of a nation???  I'm a conservative, so I'm not looking to the government to fix anything.  I think their laws and regulations are what created this problem in the first place; the market has no room to self-correct or self-regulate.

You know I keep those 6 ppl rich.  Well, I don't, but DH does; he says things like we can't afford to shop anywhere else.  It sickens me that they just sponge off the rest of us like that!!!  I always hated WalMart; now I hate it even more!!!

Quoting Sisteract:

What's really interesting is when you breakdown the top 1% -  the vast majority pf the wealth is held by the top 0.4% of citizens- The 6 Waltons (WM owners) hold as much wealth as the bottom 40% of Americans- 6 people!

Quoting HunnyBabie:

I think that's what the democrats (socialists) want us (the bottom 99%) to think.  Then socialism looks a whole lot better, with all that equality going on and all.

Can you believe the top 1% guy with his ten stacks???

Quoting Sisteract:

The bottom 99% are never going to get ahead in the new America- and that might grow to the bottom 99.6%-

I agree!

Quoting gammie:

I pay high taxes and I believe it should go to the very poor not to foreign country's to use it to buy weapons from us to kill their own!' Obamabush are wasting our money

Quoting Sisteract:

Unfortunately, especially in the bible belt and south, sharing does not meet the needed needs-

So then what? People starve? freeze?

IMO, people grossly overestimate how much they share.

Are paying taxes part of sharing or not?

Quoting HunnyBabie:

I believe that ppl should believe in sharing.  However, I also believe that the government should not legislate sharing.

The check's in the mail. ;-)

Quoting gammie:

And if you believe in sharing than you can send me some money so I can pay off some bills.

Question: why do your sort always ask people things like; "I bet you think you're a Christian, don't you?"

I'm a Republican.. why?

I'm a pro-life (incidentally an agnostic), socially conservative believer in making your own way in life.  I'm a first-year teacher, I don't get paid a lot but I don't want anyone else's money.  Even though I was engaged when I had my first child (we're married now), I could've gotten WIC and all sorts of welfare--but I didn't, out of principle.   I refused EIC on my taxes...    I only want the money I earned returned to me.

You are not entitled.  Work for it.

Why should you get the money you paid in returned?  Do you use Interstates?  Public school?  Education loans?

Not that it is any of your business, but when a married couple who have "single, 0" on their W-2s when they are MARRIED with 3 kids  pays income tax during the year, they actually pay MORE in than they are supposed to, hence why we get a refund

However, getting back MORE than the money you pay in is absurd.  That means some taxpayer is giving YOU money.

Yes I took student loans, not that it's any of your business.  But I pay that back, WITH interest.   Any loan is borrowing money against a depositer, so the federal government is acting as a bank in these instances.  People aren't "taking" tax-payers money, they are borrowing it--with interest.   In no way is this related to gettin "free" money from taxpayers

I have no problem with my tax money going to interstates and other infrastructure, the military etc.  But definitely not public schools, hell no.  I don't want a paycheck, I want to be an alternative program teacher for free.  FREE.
